The limited edition CoupeTail has become the fastest Rolls-Royce car.
The Rolls-Royce CoupéTail will be produced in just 19 units and will cost $2.4 million.
Engler Automotive will build a version of the electric Rolls-Royce Ghost with a twin-turbocharged V12 engine, Carscoops reports.
The Rolls-Royce CoupéTail was created on behalf of a client who wanted a gasoline alternative to the electric Rolls-Royce Spectre.
The Ghost model was taken as the basis for the car, and therefore the new car received a similar twin-turbocharged V12 engine. According to Engler, it is capable of developing 750 hp and 998 Nm of torque. For comparison, the fastest Ghost developed 591 hp. The company claims that such an improvement is the result of a comprehensive reconstruction.
The new powerplant allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds and is capable of reaching speeds of over 300 km/h, making it the fastest Rolls-Royce.
The Rolls-Royce CoupéTail is estimated at $2.4 million. The original Rolls-Royce Ghost now costs from $357,000, and the electric Spectre – from $398,000.
